Orders of Honour

The Orders of Honour are honours that may be conferred upon members of the Public and members of the Order.

The Orders of Honour shall, at present, consist of three (3) classes, these being:

(a) Order of Charity: For Benevolent or Philanthropic Assistance, to the Ordo Equester Aurei Cervi (Inc.) and its works or to other worthy and recognised charitable causes of a direct impact. This Honour is awarded for assistance either in a service or monetary form.

(b) Order of Service: For Exceptional Service and assistance or aid to the Ordo Equester Aurei Cervi (Inc.) and its works or events and to the Historical Community. May also be awarded for exceptional service to Charitable Organisations, however this would usually warrant an award in the Order of Charity. Usually involves personal service or assistance rather than monetary assistance but could be for either.

(c) Order of Bravery: For a selfless act of courage or bravery by defence, protection or rescue of another (either human or animal) while placing oneself at risk of either death, or physical or mental harm.

All Orders of Honour are open to public nomination as well as Order nomination. Each nomination is judged purely on its own merit and the supporting documentation presents as evidence.

Nominations of oneself will always be ignored and rejected out of hand.

If you would like to nominate somebody for one of the Order's of Honour then please download the Order of Honours Application form from the weblinks below:
