The Order
Aims and Ojectives of the Order
The Ordo Equester Aurei Cervi (Inc.) while aiming at protecting and assisting the weak, the poor and the aged, is also involved in assisting other like-minded Charities and Not-for-Profit Groups, and collecting, storing and sharing Historical information about the Medieval Period of History.
The Order today is an international, non-political, non-ecclesiastical, independent, not-for-profit, Non-Government, Benevolent and philanthropic Organisation continuing the ethics of the Medieval Orders of Chivalry into the 21st Century.
The activities of the Order can be expended worldwide, with particular attention to the assistance of the Poor and underprivileged within the community, by its activities in charitable, philanthropic and neccesitous contributions to the achievement of the aims and purposes of the Order.
The Conferment, the wearing of the Cloak and Regalia of the Order, are more than a ritualistic maintenance of an old tradition; they are the symbols of brotherhood / sisterhood and dedication to the Order, its members and its Aims and Purposes. All Members of the Order shall be of good standing within the community. They shall be committed to upholding with their lives, fortunes and honour, the principles of Chivalry, Aid and Assistance to the weak, poor and aged. As the Order is no longer limited to only Christians, the purity of unity is shown by respecting the beliefs of other religions represented in the Order while sharing and helping each other at all times, and particularly in times of trouble. Each Member does, when admitted to the Order, solemnly undertake, before God (whoever that may be for each individual) and the assembled congregation, to maintain and defend this code of conduct.
