About The Order

The Ordo Equester Aurei Cervi (Inc.) [Equestrian Order of the Golden Hart] is an international, non-political , non - ecclesiastical, independent, not-for-profit, non-Government, Benevolent and philanthropic Organisation continuing the ethics of the Medieval Orders of Chivalry into the 21st Century.

The Ordo Equester Aurei Cervi (Inc.) is an Order of Chivalry, which we have been informed started approx. 650 years ago and came to Australia from Austria.

The Ordo Equester Aurei Cervi (Inc.) essentially offers a similar set of ethos as the Orders of Chivalry of old, by providing an organisation which reveres the principles of Service, Benevolence, Brother / Sisterhood and Pride during this period of turmoil in modern society.

The Order currently has 2 Benefactors, which it has had since 1997, these being:

HRH Princess Danniella of Sicily,
Nobile dei Conti di Villanova di Montesanto and Baroness of Rome

and

Lord David, Count D'Alton (Deceased)

Like other traditional Knight Orders and Orders of Chivalry, the Ordo Equester Aurei Cervi (Inc.) has 7 different Grades for its members, which are expressed by different insignia.
